Hail & Storm Damage

When you get hit with hail…I can help!

What To Do

Every spring NE Kansas get hits with hail at least somewhere. And many homeowners don’t know that their windows are covered by homeowners insurance. Your insurance company is not on your side and will do whatever it takes not to cover your windows.

I have covered many hundreds of hail claims over the years. It all starts with a Free Inspection to see if you have hail damage. After that I walk you through your claim step by step and even work with your insurance adjuster for you. If you think you may have some damage within the last few years let someone who has seen it all help. Contact me today!

How Does It Work

First I come out and inspect your windows for damage. Then I put a quote together. You will start a claim for an adjuster to come out and inspect. I will meet the inspector so we can look at them together. Adjusters are not on your side.

Next we go through the process of getting approved. This can be tricky and that is why you need an advocate (like me) to help you through the process.

How Does Insurance Pay

Insurance companies make it very complicated to understand…on purpose. Their goal is not to pay your claim. Once we get your claim approved your insurance company with give you what is called ACV actual cash value first. This is usually only about 30% of the total repair. After the project is complete you send the final invoice in and they pay the rest. Let’s look at an example.

If you have a window claim that is for $60,000, which is not uncommon, they may give you a check for $20,000 upfront which pays the ACV. The remaining balance is called the depreciated amount. After the work is complete you send them the final bill and they pay you the rest. That simple! Set up you Free Inspection with me today!
